LOUIS PHILIPPSON
One of the most exciting pianists of his generation, Louis Philippson awaits you at the Kölner Philharmonie. Bridging the concert hall, social media and pop culture, he offers a fresh, direct way to connect with music. With his new album “Masquerade”, he invites you to a musical masked ball.
Inspired by Venetian tradition, the show combines classical masterpieces, original compositions and influential songs from pop and dance music. Bach, Mozart, Chopin and Strauss meet Duke Ellington, Rosalía, Michael Jackson and Queen. The result is a musical journey across eras and genres—surprising, diverse and full of contrasts.
From intimate moments at the piano to lavish performances with an ensemble, projections and spectacular lighting, “Masquerade” makes your concert evening a special experience. Look forward to virtuoso music, powerful emotions and an evening that brings classical music and pop together in an unmistakable way.
