St Nicholas market on Schillplatz

Located in Cologne’s city district Nippes in front of pretty old buildings and the church of St. Heinrich and Kunigund, this cosy Christmas market is organized annually by the district’s citizens’ association. All offerings of the stands come from Nippes or from the immediate vicinity of this district. The stage program is also largely designed by actors from the “Veedel” (as districts are called in Cologne dialect). In addition to creative products, sweet and savory delicacies, mulled wine and punch, there is a mini children's carousel and a visit from Santa Claus on Sunday.
