Vineyard
From the end of April, the historic courtyard of the Carthusian Church in Cologne's Südstadt district will once again open its doors for a special temporary vineyard. Nestled in the tranquil architecture of the former monastery grounds, a green oasis is created here year after year in the heart of Cologne, combining enjoyment and social commitment in a harmonious way.
Between old walls, cloisters and trees, you can enjoy carefully selected wines accompanied by a cool Kölsch or Wiess from the bottle. Numerous seats invite you to spend the evening in the open air - relaxed, sociable and deliberately unagitated. Instead of the hustle and bustle of an event, you can expect an atmosphere that leaves room for conversation and allows you to experience the special flair of this historic location.
The concept goes beyond culinary delights: after deducting the costs, all proceeds go to charitable projects supported by volunteers. KG Ponyhof supports social projects in the areas of refugee aid, integration of old and young people, combating poverty, promoting education, inclusion, art and sport as well as animals and nature conservation.
