Led by Martin Reuthner and with the renowned trombonist Ludwig Nuss as guest soloist, the concert on February 1, 2026 promises to be a celebration of jazz music. The arrangements by Dave Horler reflect the artistic excellence that skillfully showcases Nuss' musical virtuosity. Nuss, a key player in the WDR Big Band and former professor of jazz trombone, has been enriching the German and European jazz scene for years. The home of the RMS JazzOrchestra, the Rheinische Musikschule Köln, is known for its talent factory and has produced a number of jazz greats. The evening will be rounded off by the impressive singer Emma Ross, whose skills in composition and arrangement carry just as much weight. Her interplay with new talents and the repertoire between tradition and innovation invite you to experience jazz in a completely new way.
