zamus: Sommerfest

The summer festival hosted by zamus—Center for Early Music Cologne—will take place on September 5, 2026, at Tante Astrid e.V., combining a family-friendly concert program with creative arts and crafts activities. Following the musical opening—featuring works by Rossini, Strauss, and Mozart—the day will unfold with further experiences. This will be followed by creative workshops on upcycling and screen printing, which introduce participants to resource-efficient design and experimental printing techniques. Included with the ticket is a jute bag that can be custom-printed during the screen-printing workshop; attendees are also welcome to bring their own clothing items to incorporate into the creative processes. The workshops explore the concepts of upcycling and hands-on craftsmanship, offering opportunities for accessible aesthetic experiences that complement the musical program.
