Antonite Church
Built between 1350 and around 1378, the Gothic Antonite church was built for the Antonite order of the same name and belongs to the type of mendicant order churches (e.g. ridge turret instead of tower). Since 1802, it has been in the possession of the Protestant community, which was only able to practise its faith in secret until the end of the imperial city period in 1794. The most important pieces of the interior are works by Ernst Barlach, in particular 'The Floating Man' in the northern side chapel. Also noteworthy are the Romanesque baptismal font and a coloured window with a crucifixion scene from 1520/30;

The Antoniterkirche is located in the city centre pedestrian zone and is easily accessible by public transport via Neumarkt. It can be reached by tram lines 1,3,4,7,9,16 and 18 and is a 500 metre walk from the stop through Schildergasse.
