"Kommissar Klefisch - Tod am Meer"

The traditional "Kölsche Filmmatinée" returns to the Odeon cinema in Severinstraße on April 12, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. and pays tribute to three decades of cinematic encounters in the Vringsveedel. The episode "Kommissar Klefisch - Tod am Meer" from the 1992 WDR series will be shown, in which Willy Millowitsch and Dietmar Bär appear as the investigative duo. The screening will be accompanied by a discussion with Dietmar Bär, who has a special connection to the town as a Tatort detective and resident of Südstadt. Director Kaspar Heidelbach will share anecdotes from the filming, while Vera Kettenbach will provide insights into the literary work of her father, screenwriter Hans Werner Kettenbach. The film itself opens up a panorama of Cologne's cultural history: from music recordings in the "Blue Shell" with members of BRINGS to performances by many influential actors of the time. The benefit performance supports Vringstreff.de and is also a thank you to the Veedel and the Odeon team for their many years of reliable cooperation. Tickets are available daily from 4 p.m. by telephone, at the box office or online.
