Discover culinary diversity on the banks of the Rhine

From April 30 to May 3, the Rhine promenade on the left bank, starting at Hohenzollern Bridge and stretching toward Bastei, becomes a place where cuisine is experienced as cultural dialogue. Between views of the Rhine and urban openness, you’ll encounter 35 carefully curated stands presenting international food cultures—not as folklore, but with artisanal precision and a personal signature.

At the heart of it all is conscious preparation: chefs cook on site, sharing stories of origin, ingredients, and techniques. It’s about product quality, about traditions reimagined, and about recipes that reflect migration and exchange. A duck burger, Korean bulgogi, or freshly baked stroopwafels stand side by side—not randomly, but as an expression of a globally interconnected food culture.

Jamaican specialties, Latin American classics, or a simply prepared crumble invite you to discover enjoyment that goes beyond fast consumption. You stroll, taste, start conversations—and experience how diverse and at the same time unifying cuisine can be in public space.
