The atmospheric „city district“ Christmas market in front of the historic Eigelstein City Gate attracts visitors over five days with beautiful half-timbered huts. In addition to unusual handicrafts and various delicacies, there is a children's carousel for the little ones. Every day at 4 p.m., Santa Claus gives away chocolate Santa Clauses to the children and from 6 p.m. live music on a small stage creates a great mood. The mulled wine is served on a voluntary basis by the members of the organizing Bürgerverein Kölner Eigelstein e.V. The revenue from this flows entirely into the work for the city district.
