The 'Citizens' figures are one of the unique selling points of the Berlin artist El Bocho. The always colourful female figures pick up on emotional worlds from the urban space, usually through short sentences in the picture. Other 'Citizens' hold an animal protectively in their arms.
El Bocho's style, clearly recognisable in the drawing of the figures' hair and facial features as well as the use of colour, defines his works.
In addition to the 'Citizens', 'Little Lucy' is also a frequently used motif. However, the little girl maltreating stuffed cats is not so clearly visible. In contrast to the 'Citizens', you have to look for the little cuddly toy sadist in the hidden corners of the city.
