Guided Tour by the Director of the Deutz Central School of Fine Arts

Discover the Deutz Center for the Fine Arts on an extraordinary guided tour through the historic grounds of Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG. Spaces such as the former executive suite and the old blacksmith’s shop tell the story of 150 years of industrial history, personal memories, and social change.

Artistic installations and works from the past 14 years connect the history of the world’s first gas engine factory with current issues surrounding mobility, climate change, work, migration, and democratic participation. In the process, the industrial monument itself becomes the protagonist, opening up new perspectives on the possible future of the Otto & Langen Quarter.
