From the end of November, the immersive exhibition Polar Experience takes you on a fascinating journey to the Arctic and Antarctic. This impressive experience combines spectacular nature, modern media technology and engaging knowledge-sharing – making it a special destination for the whole family.
As you explore the exhibition, you will discover the striking contrasts between the two polar regions and learn how people and animals live in the extreme conditions of the eternal ice. A recreated research camp, interactive stations, and impressive images and film sequences bring polar research, climate and the unique wildlife of the poles to life. The culture and traditional knowledge of the Inuit are also presented in a vivid and accessible way.
The emotional centrepiece of the exhibition is the immersive 360° experience room, which lasts around 25 minutes.
