Café Franck

Since its founding in 1938, Café Franck has been a fixture in Cologne’s Neuehrenfeld neighborhood. Today, this historic café is run by two former student part-time workers who took it over a decade ago. The unmistakable charm of this old corner café, with its cozy outdoor terrace, has been preserved, while contemporary touches have also been added.

Café Franck prepares its menu using carefully selected ingredients. In the mornings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can enjoy a diverse breakfast selection ranging from the “Flinker Hans” for those with a sweet tooth to the “Dicker Theodor” for hearty appetites. The option to customize your breakfast reflects current trends. When it comes to cakes and pastries, the café impresses with a harmonious blend of classics and modern creations, including gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan options.

A special highlight is the coffee from the VAN DYCK roastery on nearby Körnerstraße. Here, the pleasure of coffee meets the art of roasting from Cologne-Ehrenfeld.
