Homemade ice cream, regional and sustainable

The "Eisdielerin", located in the lively Cologne neighborhood of Ehrenfeld, focuses on quality and regionality. In the in-house ice cream lab, extraordinary creations such as raspberry-tonka bean, quark-sorrel, or pear-tarragon are crafted. All ingredients are preferably sourced from the region and carefully turned into small masterpieces – without additives or artificial flavors. The production process can be observed through an open kitchen, emphasizing the small café’s transparency.

The selection is diverse: alongside classic cream-based ice cream, there are numerous vegan and vegetarian options. The silky texture of the fruit ice cream varieties tastes just as delightful as the visionary combinations of the dairy-based options. Not to mention, the “Staffel waffles” – sweet or savory – are a popular highlight.

For a brief escape, the green courtyard invites you to relax and enjoy your ice cream or one of the creative waffles in peace. "Natural – with love – homemade" is the credo of the dedicated owner, Michaela Staffel. Her small café combines individuality, respect for nature, and a unique taste experience – rightfully making it an integral part of the neighborhood.
