The message of the mural is quite clear at first glance. It becomes particularly interesting when you look at the immediate surroundings and their further development. The artwork is located on the site of a gap between buildings that has not been closed since the Second World War - a controversial case that raises questions.
The artist of the work is B.Shanti, a member of the Colorrevolution e. V. association. The collective of the association has designed many works of art in public spaces in the city of Cologne. The aim of the art and culture association is to create a vibrant city through street art, to revolutionise the face of the city in order to create a modern cultural metropolis.
