Science ahoy! From July 14 to 17, 2026, the MS Wissenschaft will be anchored in Cologne on the Mülheimer Ufer (next to the Mülheimer Brücke). Under the motto #Medicine of the Future, around 30 research institutions have transformed their work into an interactive exhibition. They will be showing the ideas and solutions that are already shaping the medicine of tomorrow. How can artificial intelligence help to detect bone fractures? Which cancer therapy protects our healthy cells? How can we use health data to treat each person individually? And what does medicine look like that takes greater account of differences between the sexes? Come along and find out! All exhibits invite you to touch, experiment or join in the research.
The exhibition is recommended for children aged twelve and over, and also for those under this age if accompanied.
The exhibition is barrier-free. The local conditions at the jetty vary from place to place. People in wheelchairs are therefore asked to register in advance by calling +49 (0)172 1765936.
