China Lights
A spectacular highlight awaits visitors with the China Lights at the Cologne Zoo. This fascinating light installation transforms the animal world into a realm of colors and shapes. A light trail spans the entire zoo grounds, designed with environmentally friendly LED lights, thereby also setting a sign for sustainability. Ornaments and sculptures made from illuminated fabrics invite you on a journey full of magic and wonder.
Through the interactive atmosphere, viewers are invited to immerse themselves in a symbiosis of light, history, and nature, allowing for both a contemplative and educational experience. As darkness falls, the artful lights come to life, offering Christmas moments of awe.
